Darksome Art and Craft Market is a Pennsylvania based market founded by Lindsay Corso Keating in late 2018. Her vision is to organize markets in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and expand to more cities throughout her home state of Pennsylvania.

Lindsay first became interested in event planning in 2016 when she joined the all female & nonbinary Minneapolis based art collective, A Conspiracy of Strange Girls. She quickly stepped up to join the leadership team and became the event planning coordinator. Lindsay led the group in putting on 5 art and craft markets, 3 gallery openings, and bringing Strange Girls to several external events.

Lindsay has a varied background. She is an artist and has dabbled in many mediums. For the past four years she has been making and selling pottery. Her business is Cabinet of Curious Clay LLC, where she makes dark, decorative pottery for unconventional individuals. On the flip side, Lindsay has a bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters degree in Library and Information Science. She worked for over 15 years in a variety of libraries. She brings her organizational skills and artistry to the creation of Darksome. She understands the logistics, organization and planning required in executing a market, as well as what artists want when vending at a market. Lindsay has sold her art for many years at a variety of craft fairs and events. She has been in the crafting world since she was 19 selling hand sewn bags on the sidewalk in Philadelphia during First Fridays.

Her goal is to create a curated shopping experience of weird and spooky art for attendees as well as bringing together a community of artists who work support one another.
